I am happy to report that our chapter had a very good year with 5 great programs and additional events that were relevant to you all – our members. We also were able to give back to our community a bit and we all had fun doing so! Beginning with EMPOWER 25 in September all the way through to May’s program we covered Selecting Software Smartly, DEI in Today’s
Environment, Challenges in Implementing IG in Financial Services/Regulated Industries, and Data Security using Microsoft Purview. We saw great engagement within our chapter and from others around the country.
Our chapter leaders have also been promoting our brand by attending and promoting/sponsoring at the CyberSecurity Summit and New England Archivist’s Spring Conference. At NEA, ARMA New England held a luncheon panel about Records Management. It’s been great getting to discuss IG with people working in related disciplines – seeing how much we have in
common and how we might collaborate on programs in the near future.

EMPOWER 26 – 9/25/2026 in Providence, RI. Early bird registration is now open – www.armane.org! Speakers/topics are being finalized, and we still have some open sponsorship availability. Please reach out to me ([email protected]) and/or review our website for the available opportunities.
We are also looking to hold our year-end member and sponsor appreciation cocktail reception mid-summer. And we’re adding more community service events, e.g. Greater Boston Food Bank, in the Fall. Please be on the lookout for updates/announcements on these and more via email.
